Description:

As a Senior Front End Developer at GlitchD Labs, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces for a diverse range of projects, including Cloud Development Kit (CDK) applications and website development.
You will work closely with designers, back-end developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, responsive, and performant web applications.
Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing user-friendly and visually appealing front-end interfaces for websites and products.
You will collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design mockups into interactive and accessible web applications.
Developing reusable components and front-end libraries for future use will be part of your role.
You will optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Integrating front-end components with back-end services and APIs, focusing on efficient data availability and access, is essential.
Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness of applications is a key responsibility.
You will conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality standards.
Staying up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices is expected.
You will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and team members.
Participating in code reviews and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes will be part of your duties.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
You must have 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, and modern frameworks/libraries, particularly React, is essential; experience with Angular or Vue.js is ideal.
Experience with Cloud Development Kit (CDK) is required.
A strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development is necessary.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling is expected.
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git, is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities are necessary for this role.
