Remote Senior Frontend Engineer

Description:

• PayPay Securities is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to be part of their financial ecosystem and contribute to changing the structure of asset management in Japan.
• The role involves collaborating with engineers, designers, and QAs to develop and operate products using web technologies.
• Responsibilities include customizing asset management and investment experiences, providing solutions to achieve organizational visions, and planning long-term improvements for the frontend codebase.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of web product development experience, proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, TypeScript, and experience in leading frontend development projects.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in securities and finance-related applications, Agile development, frontend performance monitoring, CI/CD infrastructure, and in-house service operation.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of in-house web product development experience
• Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, TypeScript
• Experience in designing frontend architecture and leading frontend development projects
• Knowledge of modern web development methods and JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with Rest API integration
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work collaboratively
• Business level proficiency in English or Japanese (Native Japanese speaker or JLPT N1 equivalent)
