Description:

Babylon Labs is seeking a versatile Senior Frontend Engineer to contribute to their front-end development efforts for a new public Cosmos-SDK PoS blockchain and inter-chain protocols.
The role involves collaborating with teams to develop high-performance front-end systems that enhance user interaction with the Babylon blockchain.
Responsibilities include building intuitive, mobile-friendly, and user-centric front-end components and applications to ensure a seamless user experience.
The engineer will work closely with designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code while ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
The position requires contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle and adapting to evolving project requirements.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of front-end engineering experience.
Experience with web3 and blockchains, particularly Cosmos SDK and Bitcoin, is essential.
Expertise in developing web applications and shipping user-facing features using JavaScript or TypeScript and modern, component-based JS frameworks like React is necessary.
Experience working in open source software is required.
Proficiency in styling using CSS frameworks is needed.
Candidates should be skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple simultaneous feature requests.
Familiarity with design systems and tools such as Figma and Sketch is important.
Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, is required for effective collaboration across global teams.
