Remote Senior Frontend Engineer

Description:

• LivePerson, a global leader in enterprise conversations, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Platform Foundation team.
• Responsibilities include working on projects to enhance customer-brand interactions via messaging platforms and collaborating with internal teams, external partners, and major clients.
• Focus on core services like the personal data deletion framework and service registry.
• Engage in cross-functional teams to transform user stories into prototypes and production code.
• Apply UI design principles and best practices for Responsive Web Design (RWD).
• Build and deploy user-facing features for multiple browsers.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in Web Intensive applications.
• Deep understanding of client-side architecture and building large-scale web applications.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, vanilla JS, and CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
• Experience with build tools like Webpack, Gulp, or Grunt.
• Knowledge of asynchronous request handling, AJAX, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with Git, scalability design principles, user experience, and accessibility.
• Self-starter with strong motivation and execution capabilities.
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma is a plus.
• Proficiency with JavaScript ES6 and Typescript is a plus.
