Description:
As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer at Regard, you will be involved in all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle, including idea generation, planning, design, prototyping, execution, deployment, and iteration of new and existing features.
You will collaborate closely with design, clinical, and product colleagues to bring new features and products to life.
Your primary objective will be to develop high-quality software solutions that meet user needs and align with the organization’s business goals by analyzing requirements, designing robust architectures, writing efficient code, and conducting thorough testing.
You will drive projects forward, mentor junior team members, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
By delivering innovative and reliable software, you will contribute to the success of the organization and make a meaningful impact in the industry.
Requirements:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
You should have 5+ years of experience using React & Typescript to build front end applications in a production environment.
Demonstrated expertise in modern front end web development frameworks is necessary.
Expertise in web development tooling and frameworks used for modern web applications (webpack, node, npm/yarn, jest, etc) is essential.
Experience in front end testing methodologies and frameworks, as well as expertise in end-to-end testing frameworks like Cypress and Selenium, is required.
Strong understanding of front end performance and observability needs with the ability to debug and diagnose complex front end issues independently is a must.
Ability to participate in on-call operational support for their areas of responsibility is necessary.
Travel up to 4 weeks a year for company co-working and/or retreat weeks is required.
