Description:

  • Strapi is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Developer Experience Squad.
  • The role is fully remote, available in specific countries including France, Italy, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Poland, Romania, Lithuania, and the UK.
  • The engineer will collaborate with other engineers, product designers, and product managers throughout all phases of product development to deliver a high-quality, stable product.
  • Responsibilities include driving innovation and experimentation within the team, guiding less experienced engineers in best practices, and leading cross-team collaboration.
  • The engineer will work with product designers to maintain and evolve the design system and review pull requests while assisting community contributors.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have advanced experience with React and its ecosystem, including Redux, styled-components, storybook, and React-Query.
  • Experience in designing and implementing architectural improvements to optimize front-end performance is required.
  • Confidence in writing unit and end-to-end tests using Jest and Playwright is necessary.
  • Awareness of web accessibility standards and familiarity with WAI-ARIA principles is expected.
  • Candidates should be curious, empathetic, and autonomous, with a willingness to explore new technologies.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in a similar position is required, along with fluent English.
  • Bonus points for professional experience building a CMS and for being a regular maintainer or contributor to an open-source project.
