Remote Senior Frontend Engineer

Description:

• Higharc, a VC-backed startup, is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their team working on the industry-leading browser-based CAD editor, Studio.
• The role involves building performant and scalable UI architectures using React and modern web application development.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with product designers, architects, and users to develop new UI patterns, solving complex UI problems, and continuously improving UI implementation methodologies.
• The position is fully remote and can be located anywhere in the continental US.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the homebuilding industry and be motivated to elevate the industry through the development of a powerful new homebuilding platform.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with modern frontend engineering tools.
• Extensive experience with TypeScript, React, Redux, and Next.js.
• Proficiency in automated testing of React web applications and using tools like the React profiler and Chrome profiler for performance analysis.
• Familiarity with SASS, Tailwind, or similar modern CSS frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to make decisions considering various alternatives.
• Nice to have: Experience testing rich graphical browser UIs based on HTML’s canvas element and/or Three.js, familiarity with CAD or CAM applications.
