Description:
InVitro Capital is seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to design and develop user-centric web applications using React and related technologies.
The role involves close collaboration with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to create responsive, efficient, and visually appealing interfaces.
Responsibilities include ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimizing applications for speed and scalability, and integrating front-end components with server-side logic.
The engineer will implement and maintain automated testing and code quality tools, assist in troubleshooting bugs and performance issues, and stay updated with the latest trends in frontend development.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, aligned with the Pacific Time Zone.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in frontend development, focusing on JavaScript and related web technologies.
Proficiency in frontend frameworks, particularly React and its ecosystem (e.g., Redux, React Router), is essential.
A strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development is necessary.
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is required.
Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git, is expected.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with strong attention to detail, are important.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging environment.
Preferred qualifications include experience with frontend performance optimization techniques, knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Python, Django), and familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Enzyme) and test-driven development (TDD).
Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma) and understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues are also preferred.
