Description:

The company is hiring a Senior Frontend Software Engineer for the Billing and Platform UX team in Portugal, which is responsible for the platform serving the entire Wellhub business.
The role involves processing millions of transactions globally and working closely with cross-functional teams and payment service providers to optimize checkout conversion rates and account management interactions.
The engineer will implement and deliver solutions, drive frontend architecture, influence checkout conversion, write maintainable code and tests, participate in incident resolution, mentor other developers, and ensure high-quality code through best practices.

Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in developing front-end applications based on RESTful APIs and collaborating with back-end teams.
Proficiency in the ReactJS ecosystem is required, but knowledge of Angular or Vue is also acceptable.
Experience with automated, unit, and behavioral testing of React components is necessary.
Candidates should have experience in implementing prototypes and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles.
A software quality and test automation mindset is essential.
Experience with monitoring and observability, as well as accessibility principles, is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience is mandatory.
Strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese are necessary.
A good understanding of browser functionality is required.
