Description:

  • The role is for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer in the Billing & Platform UX team, responsible for processing millions of transactions globally.
  • The team collaborates with cross-functional teams and payment service providers to enhance checkout conversion rates and account management interactions.
  • The engineer will research and execute strategic projects, influencing B2B and B2C checkout conversion by implementing new payment mechanisms and improving existing ones.
  • The position involves developing engineering skills related to scalability, system architecture, and code quality assurance.
  • The engineer is expected to promote wellbeing in the workplace and create a supportive environment for colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • Candidates must have experience in developing front-end applications based on RESTful APIs and collaborating with back-end teams.
  • Proficiency in the ReactJS ecosystem, Typescript, Javascript, and NodeJS is necessary.
  • A good understanding of browser functionality is essential.
  • Experience with automated, unit, and behavioral testing of React components is required.
  • Candidates should have experience in implementing prototypes and concepts such as MVP, A/B testing, and feature toggles.
  • A software quality and test automation mindset is important.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability is required.
  • Candidates should have knowledge of accessibility principles.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese are mandatory.
  • Prior experience in frontend development and React is a mandatory requirement.
