Description:

  • Mobilize is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their fast-paced technology and communications company during a period of extensive growth.
  • The role involves providing expertise to the software development team, scaling products for clients, and applying development principles and techniques in IT.
  • The Senior Full Stack Developer will collaborate with the Chief Architect and Lead Developer throughout the software development cycle, mentor mid-level developers, and contribute to defining the future roadmap of the company.
  • The position requires a time commitment of 9AM-5PM MST (Full-Time) Monday – Friday, with a mix of remote work and location in Denver, Colorado.
  • The salary ranges from $130,000 to $170,000 with bonus opportunities and includes company-provided equipment.
  • Day-to-day responsibilities involve working in an agile development team, focusing on culture, transparency, and collaboration, and actively contributing to code development, mentoring, and strategic planning.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, business, or have equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and managing production-quality software within Linux-based systems.
  • 5 years of hands-on experience with backend RESTful API development, preferably using Ruby on Rails, and at least one front-end framework like ReactJS.
  • Proficiency in databases such as PostgreSQL and Elasticache (Redis), TDD testing principles, Amazon Web Services, and working with diverse, geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to pass a security background check, travel three times per year for company retreats, participate in virtual calls with the camera on, and be a United States citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
