Description:

Good Party is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in the U.S. to contribute to their mission of prioritizing people over money in democracy.
The role involves building intuitive, inclusive, and accessible tools for candidates, volunteers, and creators across desktop and mobile web platforms.
Responsibilities include turning product requirements and designs into high-quality software, building AI and LLM use cases, maintaining design standards, and collaborating with a lean, agile team using CI/CD and Kanban methodologies.
The engineer will work directly with product, design, and QA teams and report to the CTO.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a Computer Science Degree with strong JavaScript skills, experience with React.js, knowledge of API best practices, and excellent CSS/SCSS skills for creating responsive designs.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant full-time work experience is required, ideally in a fast-paced 0 to 1 environment.
Interest and experience in using AI, LLMs, and automation of tasks through AI are essential.
Experience in building design systems using component architecture is necessary.
Advanced technical and analytical skills to diagnose, isolate, and resolve problems are required.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively are important.
