Description:

• Locus Robotics is a leader in eCommerce order fulfillment optimization, helping warehouse owners achieve 2-3X efficiency improvements over cart-picking operations.
• The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a high-performance team focused on deploying cutting-edge technology to solve logistics challenges for major global brands.
• This role involves improving the core functionality of the robotic application interface and developing the backend environment.
• Responsibilities include contributing to software design and architecture, maintaining the current Robot/Warehouse Execution System, and developing high-quality code with automated unit tests for cloud-based and self-hosted SaaS products.
• The position requires troubleshooting customer problems, writing test cases, and working within a Scrum environment to deliver software in defined sprints.
• The role also involves building partnerships with UX designers, Software Developers, and Product Managers, as well as mentoring new or junior team members.
• This is a remote position available to candidates in the US or Canada.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar engineering degree is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development, particularly with SQL, C#, and .NET, along with strong object-oriented design and development skills.
• Experience with API-first development, especially leveraging REST, is necessary.
• Familiarity with popular UI frameworks like React.js or Angular.js is required for UI development.
• Expertise in designing multi-threaded applications and experience in deploying and supporting those applications in production is essential.
• Candidates should have experience designing complex applications using microservices architecture and asynchronous message-oriented systems.
• A solid understanding of database technologies, including relational SQL and NoSQL databases, is required, with a preference for Microsoft SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail are necessary.
• Experience with agile software development and Scrum methodologies is required.
• A track record of Test Driven Development using testing principles and practices is essential.
• Familiarity with native cloud application development (GCP, AWS, Azure) and continuous deployment experience is a plus.
• Expertise with warehouse execution and automation systems is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Go, Python, and Rust is a plus.
• Proficient English written and verbal communication skills are required for effective collaboration.
