Description:
Material Bank is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Catalog team and play a crucial role in enhancing the product and materials catalog.
The focus will be on creating a detailed and expansive catalog to streamline the sourcing process and boost productivity in the design industry.
Responsibilities include developing internal applications, designing microservices architecture, utilizing AWS services, maintaining APIs, managing databases, and implementing message queueing systems.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on full stack development.
Proficiency in Typescript, GO, and other relevant programming languages is essential.
Expertise in unit testing, TDD, and BDD development patterns is necessary.
Hands-on experience with AWS services like EKS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Event Bridge, etc., is required.
Strong knowledge of API development, integration, and Postgres SQL for database design and management is a must.
Familiarity with Kafka or similar message queueing systems is preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
