Description:

  • Material Bank is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Catalog team and play a crucial role in enhancing the product and materials catalog.
  • The focus will be on creating a detailed and expansive catalog to streamline the sourcing process and boost productivity in the design industry.
  • Responsibilities include developing internal applications, designing microservices architecture, utilizing AWS services, maintaining APIs, managing databases, and implementing message queueing systems.
  • The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions and staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on full stack development.
  • Proficiency in Typescript, GO, and other relevant programming languages is essential.
  • Expertise in unit testing, TDD, and BDD development patterns is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services like EKS/Fargate, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, Event Bridge, etc., is required.
  • Strong knowledge of API development, integration, and Postgres SQL for database design and management is a must.
  • Familiarity with Kafka or similar message queueing systems is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
