Remote Senior Full Stack (Java/React) Engineer

Description:

• Softermii is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to work remotely on a project developing innovative digital products for the shipping industry.
• Responsibilities include designing and developing software, refactoring and optimizing code, troubleshooting and debugging application code, and collaborating with the team.
• The position involves working with a team consisting of 6-9 developers, 1 program manager, and 1 UX/UI designer.
• The company is transitioning from regular outsourcing to an ecosystem of outsourcing, education, and product development companies.

Requirements:

• A BSc in Software Engineering or BS degree in Computer Science is required.
• 5+ years of experience in Java and Spring, along with experience in Functional Programming and Java Streams.
• 4+ years of experience in React and other modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries, as well as experience in developing a reactive UI.
• 2+ years of experience in TDD/BDD development using Junit, Jasmin, Mockito, and Protractor/Selenium.
• 2+ years of experience in micro-services-based architecture and tools like Spring Boot/Cloud, with familiarity in design concepts like micro-services, service discovery, and circuit breaker.
• Must have an Upper-Intermediate English level.
