Olo is a leading SaaS platform that accelerates digital transformation in the restaurant industry by providing digital ordering, payment, and guest engagement solutions.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will help scale one of the most advanced food ordering platforms in the market.
The role requires a full stack engineer with front end and UI experience to design, develop, scale, and monitor solutions in the core ordering platform.
The company values a neat codebase with automated tests and continuous integration, encouraging constant refactoring and new ideas.
This position is fully remote, allowing work from anywhere within the United Kingdom, with a primary shift time of 2pm-11pm GMT Monday-Friday.
You will be contracted to Olo through Deel, an Employer of Record, which handles legal and administrative responsibilities of employment.
You will maintain your day-to-day relationship with Olo while Deel will be your point of contact for job-related matters.
You will retain all employment rights under local law and be eligible for statutorily required benefits and pension programs.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with excellent knowledge of C#, .NET, and object-oriented concepts.
You should have 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining scalable React applications using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, with a preference for TypeScript.
Hands-on experience with RDBMS development is required.
You need to collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
You should be adept at writing unit tests and testable code, and have experience working under distributed version control, preferably Git.
An in-depth understanding of Windows, Linux, database, and networking concepts is necessary.
You must have hands-on experience instrumenting, deploying, and monitoring production code.
A working knowledge of F# or functional programming is highly desirable, or you should be open to learning functional programming.
Strong knowledge of building and maintaining distributed systems, leveraging cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Kafka, Redis, and Docker is essential.
You should demonstrate leadership skills by mentoring peers, leading technical discussions, and collaborating effectively across teams.

The estimated compensation range for this position is £57,600 - £68,400 annually, depending on your experience.
