Next Matter is seeking an experienced, passionate software engineer to join their team as a Senior Fullstack, Backend Leaning Software Engineer.
The role involves working cross-functionally with other departments and collaborating with talented peers to deliver quality code that delights customers.
Responsibilities include designing and executing new and existing features, writing robust and maintainable code, and making backend architectural decisions.
The engineer will also be responsible for triaging, debugging, and fixing user-reported bugs, participating in code reviews, and identifying and solving blockers within the Engineering team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a collaborative mindset and a strong sense of ownership, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while focusing on impactful outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Extensive expertise in developing scalable services and APIs using Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework is required.
A strong working knowledge of SQL is necessary.
Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks and tools is essential.
Exposure to developing user interfaces with React or a similar modern web framework is preferred.
Candidates should have experience working effectively in diverse, remote teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required, including the ability to document and communicate technical and non-technical concepts clearly.
