Description:

Next Matter is seeking an experienced, passionate Senior Fullstack, Backend Leaning Software Engineer to join their remote team in EMEA.
The role involves working cross-functionally with product, design, and frontend teams to design and execute new and existing features.
Responsibilities include writing robust, scalable, and maintainable code, defining and estimating work, producing technical improvements, and documenting code with a focus on usability, performance, compliance, and security.
The engineer will also triage, debug, and fix user-reported bugs, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with the Engineering team to identify and solve blockers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a collaborative mindset, strong sense of ownership, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while focusing on impactful outcomes aligned with business objectives.
Extensive expertise in developing scalable services and APIs using Python, Django, and Django Rest Framework is required.
A strong working knowledge of SQL is necessary.
Experience with unit and end-to-end testing frameworks and tools is essential.
Exposure to developing user interfaces with React or a similar modern web framework is preferred.
Candidates should have experience working effectively in diverse, remote teams and possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
