Description:

  • Seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join the Mantis product development team responsible for designing and developing data-driven products for media owners and advertisers.
  • Mantis, a technology business powered by IBM Watson and built by Reach PLC, focuses on innovation and AI-driven tools for the digital ecosystem.
  • Role involves enhancing current systems, building new Mantis services and products, and collaborating with internal and external teams.
  • Responsibilities include designing solutions, writing application code (backend services, APIs, frontend components), and managing infrastructure using cloud platforms like AWS and IBM Cloud.
  • Senior Engineer will mentor team members, review code changes, and stay updated on new programming languages and technologies.
  • Opportunity to work on various tasks like building frontend UI, creating scalable SAAS APIs, developing backend application services, and researching machine learning models for text, image, or video analysis.

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in software engineering and testing with a focus on building scalable B2B and B2C products on cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services, Microservice Architectures, JavaScript/Typescript, Node.js, relational and non-relational databases, and event streaming.
  • Ability to work independently, contribute to team success, and understand the commercial aspects of product development.
  • Enthusiasm for clean code principles, development best practices, and bridging the gap between technical and business stakeholders.
