Teal is seeking a fully remote Senior Fullstack Engineer to support architecture and execution efforts across their platform.
The role focuses on improving and expanding the job search and recommendation engine to create a consumer-focused, AI-infused product.
Responsibilities include architecting, developing, and maintaining AI-powered search and recommendation systems within a large-scale SaaS environment.
The engineer will build end-to-end full stack applications using modern frontend and backend technology stacks.
The position involves integrating and managing databases to power real-time search and recommendations services.
The engineer will implement and manage microservices architectures and collaborate with various teams to enhance AI features.
The role requires designing and maintaining critical data pipelines and driving infrastructure automation for scalability and resilience.
The engineer will mentor junior developers and shape the company’s coding standards and processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, specifically with cloud-native SaaS applications.
Expertise in frontend and backend stacks such as React, Go, and Node.js is required, with a strong focus on API design and microservices architecture.
Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB is necessary.
Experience with caching and search technologies like Redis and Elasticsearch is preferred.
Strong knowledge of cloud-native tools including AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Argo CD is essential.
Candidates should be able to build and maintain ETL/streaming data pipelines using SQL, Python, Numpy, Pandas, and Kafka.
A desire to work on AI-powered search and recommendation systems is important.
Experience with testing code during development is required.
Candidates should have experience working in early-stage companies where processes evolve with team growth.
A solid understanding of both technical and business needs for development projects is necessary.
