Description:
Updater, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the MoveHQ division.
The role involves enhancing both the frontend and backend of MoveHQ’s move management platform.
Contributions will impact the platform's robustness, scalability, and functionality while promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration within the engineering team.
Responsibilities include leading the development of new features, optimizing platform performance, and acting as a senior technical member guiding complex projects.
The engineer will mentor less experienced engineers and enhance CI/CD processes for agile deployment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of web development experience, with substantial expertise in React and experience with Ruby or PHP.
A proven track record of delivering robust, scalable, and high-performance SaaS products is required.
Experience in technical leadership roles within fast-paced, collaborative environments, preferably in startups, is essential.
Strong experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks is necessary for designing efficient data interactions.
Proficiency in modern testing frameworks and a commitment to high-quality software solutions through rigorous testing and automation is expected.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Jira is required.
Candidates should be proficient with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for creating clear technical documentation and collaborating with stakeholders.
Experience in regulated environments is a plus but not mandatory.
