As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in the Compliance group, you will help mature enterprise-grade Compliance features that impact GitLab's enterprise sales success.
The Compliance group focuses on Compliance Management and Audit Events, aiming to expand feature maturity and build a robust architecture.
Responsibilities include writing high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code, contributing to the overall direction of the Compliance group, and advocating for product quality, security, and performance.
You will collaborate with senior engineers on architectural plans and participate in agile development practices.
Requirements:
Strong experience in building, deploying, and maintaining Ruby on Rails applications, with a deep understanding of the Rails ecosystem and unit testing with RSpec.
Familiarity with GraphQL and building frontend web applications using GraphQL.
Professional experience with VueJS or another modern JavaScript web framework such as React, Angular, or Ember.
A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts, including unit testing components with Jest.
A strong background in developing secure applications and understanding how to protect them against modern security threats.
Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries, preferably with PostgreSQL, to manage and manipulate data effectively.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
