Description:
Updater, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the MoveHQ division.
The role involves enhancing both the frontend and backend of MoveHQ’s move management platform.
Responsibilities include leading the development of new features, optimizing platform performance, and providing technical project leadership.
The engineer will mentor less experienced team members and enhance CI/CD processes for agile deployment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of web development experience, with substantial expertise in React and experience with Ruby or PHP.
Proven ability to develop and ship robust, scalable, and high-performance SaaS solutions is required.
Experience in technical leadership roles within fast-paced, collaborative environments, preferably in startups, is necessary.
Strong experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks is essential.
Proficiency in modern testing frameworks and a commitment to high-quality software solutions through rigorous testing and automation is expected.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Jira is required.
Candidates should be proficient with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for creating clear technical documentation and collaborating with stakeholders.
Experience in regulated environments is a plus but not mandatory.
