Remote Senior Fullstack Engineer (React)

Description:

• Updater, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Senior Fullstack Engineer to join the MoveHQ division.
• The role involves enhancing both the frontend and backend of MoveHQ’s move management platform.
• Responsibilities include leading the development of new features, optimizing platform performance, and providing technical project leadership.
• The engineer will mentor less experienced team members and enhance CI/CD processes for agile deployment.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of web development experience, with substantial expertise in React and experience with Ruby or PHP.
• Proven ability to develop and ship robust, scalable, and high-performance SaaS solutions is required.
• Experience in technical leadership roles within fast-paced, collaborative environments, preferably in startups, is necessary.
• Strong experience with relational databases and ORM frameworks is essential.
• Proficiency in modern testing frameworks and a commitment to high-quality software solutions through rigorous testing and automation is expected.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Jira is required.
• Candidates should be proficient with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for creating clear technical documentation and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Experience in regulated environments is a plus but not mandatory.
