Description:

Maximus is a mission-driven consumer health company focused on optimizing men's mental and physical health through content, community, and clinical support.
The company is building an advanced telemedicine platform and emphasizes rapid product iteration using continuous integration, code quality measurements, TDD, and pair programming.
The role involves writing and shipping high-quality code, contributing to the engineering organization, and actively participating in product iteration and development.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of experience in product software development, particularly with public consumer web applications.
Front-end experience with React, Redux, and ImmutableJS is required.
Back-end experience with Ruby on Rails or Ruby is highly preferred.
General experience in unit testing and integration testing is necessary.
Past experience or interest in pair programming is a plus.
Familiarity with queue/background processing and third-party integrations (e.g., Stripe) is nice to have.
Interest in Event Sourcing and functional programming patterns is also a plus.
Candidates should demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical team members.
