The role focuses on building VR solutions for public safety training, specifically addressing the challenges of ineffective and non-scalable training for police officers.
The Senior Game Designer II will work with an interdisciplinary team to create engaging and effective VR training simulations that provide scenario feedback.
Responsibilities include designing and developing VR training simulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting user research, and creating detailed design documents and prototypes.
The position allows for remote work with the option to collaborate in-person at various US R&D hubs.

Requirements:

A minimum of 8 years of experience as a Game Designer, with a Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior team members and lead cross-functional project teams.
Proven experience in designing engaging VR, games, or interactive training simulations.
Proficiency in game development tools such as Unity or Unreal Engine, and familiarity with scripting languages like C# or Python.
Strong understanding of VR technologies, UX/UI principles, and narrative design.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively within multi-discipline team environments.
Passion for creating impactful training experiences in VR.
