Description:

  • Saltwater Games, a creative alliance of studios, is seeking a Senior Games Programmer proficient in Unreal Engine to join their team in London, England.
  • The successful candidate will work on various projects, contributing to all aspects of game development, including feature work, tool improvement, optimization, and integration of 3rd party systems.
  • The role offers the opportunity to be involved in the full project lifecycle, collaborating with different disciplines and reporting to a line manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of commercial games development experience with at least two shipped titles using Unreal Engine or extensive work on a live services title.
  • Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine, Blueprints, and C++ in the industry, with an understanding of their pros and cons.
  • Experience in developing racing style games.
  • Proficiency with Perforce, the source control solution used by the company.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills in English.
  • Ability to engage with the team, mentor, and share knowledge.
  • Proactive time management skills.
  • Willingness to embrace all aspects of game development and seek opportunities to learn and grow.
  • Ability to venture outside the comfort zone.
