Remote Senior IT Security Administrator

Description:

• PairSoft is seeking a detail-oriented Senior IT Security Administrator responsible for desktop, mobile, and network security.
• The role involves troubleshooting network access and implementing network security policies and procedures.
• The security administrator will work independently within established procedures to ensure network security access and protect against unauthorized access, modifications, or destruction.
• Responsibilities include performing risk assessments, audits, staff training sessions, and monitoring network activity.
• The position is remote, allowing work from anywhere in India.
• Key responsibilities include installing, administering, and troubleshooting network security solutions, updating software with security patches, performing vulnerability and penetration tests, and developing disaster recovery plans.
• The administrator will configure security systems, analyze security requirements, and recommend improvements while monitoring network traffic for suspicious behavior.
• Additional duties include creating network policies, consulting with staff about security practices, configuring security tools, training staff on security protocols, and assisting with user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MCA, or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in security administration.
• Advanced training certifications may be advantageous.
• A strong understanding of computer, network, and security systems is essential.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
• The candidate must be highly motivated and self-driven with a proven ability to multitask.
• Excellent knowledge and experience with Virtual Machines is necessary.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, VB Script, and Shell Script is required.
• Candidates should have excellent knowledge in Windows Administration (Server & Client) and Web Server Administration (e.g., IIS).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI, and HIPAA is important.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and networking concepts is required.
• Candidates must have excellent knowledge of creating and implementing SSL Certificates.
