Description:

• Solaris, a tech company with a full German banking license, is seeking a Senior Java/Kotlin Engineer to work on their Banking-as-a-Service platform.
• The role involves ensuring on-time delivery of new API endpoints, maintaining and evolving existing API functionalities, delivering high-quality code efficiently, taking end-to-end ownership of microservices, contributing to infrastructure and automation tools, and supporting the team's technical prowess and processes.
• The ideal candidate will have multi-year experience with Java or Kotlin, in-depth knowledge of Spring framework, Spring Boot, JPA, and Multithreading, experience with Test Driven Development, a strong understanding of building scalable distributed systems, proficiency in AWS and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform), and familiarity with agile workflows and lean principles.

Requirements:

• Proven multi-year experience with Java or Kotlin or other JVM languages like Scala.
• In-depth knowledge and experience of Spring framework, Spring Boot, JPA, and Multithreading.
• Experience with Test Driven Development in Java/Kotlin and Spring.
• Strong understanding of building scalable distributed systems.
• Profound experience with AWS and infrastructure as code, for example, Terraform.
• Understanding and practice of agile workflows and lean principles.
