Description:

RYZ Labs is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a client's team focused on developing perception and prediction software for sidewalk autonomy.
The role involves tackling complex technical challenges in sidewalk autonomy, including perception, prediction, and innovative machine learning tasks.
Key responsibilities include building foundational models for vision language and action, designing, training, and deploying learning-based perception models for on-robot systems, and collaborating with teams to define tasks based on real-world problems.
The engineer will also assess and monitor model performance, analyze performance bottlenecks, produce high-quality code, and participate in code reviews.
Candidates must be comfortable working with SQL queries and ETL logic for data ingress.

Requirements:

A Master's or PhD in Computer Science with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience focused on machine learning, deep learning, robotics, or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
At least 2 years of experience in training and deploying machine learning models into production and managing their lifecycle maintenance is necessary.
A deep understanding of computer vision, machine learning, and deep learning concepts is essential.
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python for efficient and robust code development are required.
Experience with multiple sensors such as Lidar, Mono/Stereo cameras, and IMU is necessary.
Strong communication skills are a must.
