Remote Senior Manager, UX Research

Description:

• Lead the UX Research strategy for GitLab, reporting to the VP, UX.
• Manage a team of 4 direct reports, including a Manager and 3 Staff Researchers.
• Responsible for business critical performance indicators like SUS and CSAT.
• Evolve research methodologies and practices as the company scales.
• Ensure research is integrated into the product development workflow and decision-making.
• Contribute to devising a new UX research vision and strategy for the company.

Requirements:

• Must have demonstrated UX Research leadership experience at the executive level.
• Experience leading UXR Managers and very senior IC's (Staff+ level).
• Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research, service design, user metrics, and research operations.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for critical research/insights adoption.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to C-level executives.
• Strategic business acumen to align company mission with team objectives.
• Ideally, have experience working at an enterprise-focused SaaS company.
