Description:
Lead the UX Research strategy for GitLab, reporting to the VP, UX.
Manage a team of 4 direct reports, including a Manager and 3 Staff Researchers.
Responsible for business critical performance indicators like SUS and CSAT.
Evolve research methodologies and practices as the company scales.
Ensure research is integrated into the product development workflow and decision-making.
Contribute to devising a new UX research vision and strategy for the company.
Requirements:
Must have demonstrated UX Research leadership experience at the executive level.
Experience leading UXR Managers and very senior IC's (Staff+ level).
Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research, service design, user metrics, and research operations.
Ability to influence stakeholders and advocate for critical research/insights adoption.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting to C-level executives.
Strategic business acumen to align company mission with team objectives.
Ideally, have experience working at an enterprise-focused SaaS company.
