Description:

Curri is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer I for their Driver App, focusing on building mobile platforms for couriers involved in delivery operations.
The role involves creating exceptional mobile experiences that utilize mobile device capabilities such as camera input, geo-location tracking, real-time push notifications, and offline functionalities.
Responsibilities include leading the development of mobile applications for both iOS and Android, architecting offline-first functionality, and integrating advanced geolocation tracking.
The engineer will collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ensure seamless user experience and feature delivery.
Establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and mobile release processes is also a key responsibility.
The role requires identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and updating the existing React Native app while supporting native languages like Swift and Kotlin.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining production-grade native apps in Swift or Kotlin, with React Native experience being a significant advantage.
Expertise in implementing offline-first mobile apps with background sync, local caching, and robust error handling is required.
Proven ability to design scalable and modular mobile architectures that support fast iteration and long-term maintainability is essential.
Strong communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with designers, PMs, and backend engineers are necessary, along with the ability to mentor less experienced engineers.
A focus on delivering exceptional user experiences, spotting UX edge cases, and understanding business context is crucial.
