Description:
- As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Circle, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Circle’s infrastructure estate to support the global customer base on public cloud providers across multiple regions.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure Circle’s products and core systems run consistently, reasonably, and in a performant manner.
- Your role will involve supporting multiple development teams with an agile CI/CD platform, building and securing cloud infrastructure using IaC tools, automating operational tasks, managing Kubernetes clusters, and driving forward the blockchain infrastructure.
- Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation, plan disaster recovery scenarios, collaborate with the Security team on security-focused tools, and mentor team members.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles with a focus on tooling, automation, and infrastructure on a major public cloud provider.
- Proficiency in coding/scripting with languages like Go, Python, and Shell.
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD platforms, deploying containers in Kubernetes clusters, working with modern CI/CD platforms, and managing distributed blockchain systems.
- Knowledge of database technologies, data warehousing, networking, monitoring tools, Helm charts, IaC with Terraform, and Kubernetes clusters.
- Strong skills in observability, troubleshooting, and performance solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts effectively.
Benefits:
- Base Pay Range for Senior Site Reliability Engineer: $147,500 - $195,000 with an Annual Bonus Target of 12.5%.
