As a Senior Platform and Data Engineer, you will evolve, design, and implement data systems while building scalable chain-data processing solutions.
Your primary goal will be to consolidate data from various sources into a single source of truth, making it accessible and useful for customers.
You will report to the Head of Data and Analytics and work to streamline the current data system to handle an increasing array of product and blockchain data.
This role is hands-on, requiring close collaboration with engineers, and is considered high impact within the company.
You will have autonomy in your work while being supported by a team of dedicated professionals.

Requirements:

You must have 5+ years of relevant industry experience as a platform or data engineer.
Advanced mastery of Golang is required.
Strong working knowledge of at least one data warehouse such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Clickhouse is necessary.
You should be able to work cross-functionally with other stakeholders and teams effectively.
Strong programming skills are essential, and you should not just be a hacker.
A high willingness to quickly learn about blockchain technology, its data structures, schema, and ecosystem is expected.
Excellent SQL skills and experience with ETL using tools like dbt are required.
Experience with distributed log systems like Kafka or Spark is a plus.
You should have expertise in working with large software systems in major cloud providers such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
A strong understanding of building fault-tolerant, scalable systems is necessary.
Experience with blockchain data operations and an interest in web3 is preferred.
