Description:

The Senior Platform Engineer will work under the Lead DevOps Engineer to implement cutting-edge technologies and tools for developers to innovate efficiently.
They will be responsible for enhancing, scaling, integrating, securing, and automating deployment pipelines and core services to address dynamic engineering challenges.
The role involves collaborating with R&D teams globally to develop and maintain common tools, libraries, standards, and practices.
Responsibilities include automating, maintaining, and scaling production environments across multiple cloud providers, primarily focusing on AWS.
The engineer will monitor and ensure the health, uptime, security, and compliance of infrastructure and systems, while also building and evolving infrastructure to meet SLAs.
They will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, participate in an on-call rotation, and engage with multiple development teams on various projects.

Requirements:

Passion for system infrastructure and problem-solving.
Extensive experience with AWS services like IAM, EKS, Security Groups, and EFS.
Minimum 6 years of experience in a DevOps role in a technology organization.
Minimum 3 years of experience with Kubernetes and system architecture.
Minimum 4 years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, Pulumi, and Ansible.
Minimum 3 years of experience in cloud security fundamentals and secure configurations, preferably in regulated environments.
Proficiency in Helm for deployments, coding in languages like Python, Shell, GO, etc., and designing CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Linux CLI, POSIX shells, and working with multiple development teams.
