Description:

  • Sendle is seeking a Senior Product Engineer with a passion for building impactful software to join their Product Engineering team.
  • The role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and a focus on results rather than hours worked.
  • The tech stack includes Ruby, Elixir, React, Postgres, Redis, and Kafka, with an emphasis on a simple architecture and automated workflows.
  • Engineers will work in cross-functional teams alongside designers, customer support, marketing, and logistics experts.
  • Responsibilities include integrating with eCommerce platforms, improving parcel management for customers, and connecting courier networks in innovative ways.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must be highly collaborative and excited about building an environmentally sustainable courier business.
  • Experience in agile development practices and TDD/BDD is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work autonomously with personal organization are essential.
  • Candidates should have experience building mid to large applications and be interested in leading feature development.
  • Familiarity with Ruby or Elixir, SQL, PostgreSQL, and React or another modern frontend JavaScript framework is necessary.
  • Experience with cloud-hosted applications on platforms like Heroku or AWS is also required.
