Remote Senior Protocol Engineer

Description:

• DELV is seeking a Senior Protocol Engineer to work remotely in various locations such as Fort Worth, California, Charlotte, Dallas, Ontario, Oregon, Toronto, Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, and Texas.
• The company is focused on developing new protocols for decentralized financial systems to promote trustless ownership and programmatic markets for crypto-native assets.
• The role involves designing and developing advanced, efficient, and secure smart contract protocols for decentralized finance.
• Responsibilities include building new protocol developments, defining math and logic for smart contracts, supporting other chains and networks, and collaborating with a cross-functional team.
• The position requires writing production-grade Solidity smart contracts, reviewing code for security and efficiency, maintaining high coverage tests, and staying updated with emerging blockchain technologies.
• Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of experience with Ethereum blockchain and DeFi protocols, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Preferred qualifications include security experience, senior-level programming experience, cross-chain protocol deployment, formal verification, and a background in cryptography and mathematics.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of writing Solidity smart contracts for Ethereum blockchain
• Experience managing the full life cycle of smart contracts including design, testing, review, deployment, and on-chain interaction
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Deep understanding of DeFi ecosystem and experience deploying complex smart contract systems to mainnet
• Ability to derive information from research papers and technical documents
• Strong autonomy, multitasking, and testing skills for smart contracts
