Requirements:
Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in developing scalable and high-performing web applications.
Proficiency in Django or similar Python web frameworks is required for rapidly developing web applications.
Experience with REST and/or SOAP based APIs consumption and creation is necessary.
Strong database skills with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases are essential.
A deep commitment to test-driven development using tools like behave for Automated Acceptance Tests (AAT) is required.
Candidates should have experience working with HTML5, CSS3, ERB, SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Familiarity with deploying applications to the cloud using Heroku, Amazon Web Services, or similar services is expected.
Design skills with experience in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, database design, and data modeling are important.
A 4-year college degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
Understanding of DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and its capabilities is encouraged.
Bonus qualifications include experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis, and familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins/TeamCity, Vagrant, Puppet, or Chef.
