Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in developing scalable and high-performing web applications.
  • Proficiency in Django or similar Python web frameworks is required for rapidly developing web applications.
  • Experience with REST and/or SOAP based APIs consumption and creation is necessary.
  • Strong database skills with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases are essential.
  • A deep commitment to test-driven development using tools like behave for Automated Acceptance Tests (AAT) is required.
  • Candidates should have experience working with HTML5, CSS3, ERB, SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Familiarity with deploying applications to the cloud using Heroku, Amazon Web Services, or similar services is expected.
  • Design skills with experience in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, database design, and data modeling are important.
  • A 4-year college degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
  • Understanding of DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and its capabilities is encouraged.
  • Bonus qualifications include experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis, and familiarity with DevOps and Continuous Delivery tools such as Jenkins/TeamCity, Vagrant, Puppet, or Chef.
