Description:

The Senior Python Developer position at Koombea involves building application models and coding the logic behind user-facing components and web app databases.
Responsibilities include integrating user-facing and server-side components, building reusable code and libraries, optimizing app performance, implementing security measures, designing data storage solutions, and deploying web apps to staging and production.
The role requires expertise in Python (ideally Pyramid), Flask applications, web development (HTML, CSS/SASS/LESS, JavaScript, Angular 8), Linux and LAMP architecture, RESTful/JSON API development, and DevOps tools like AWS, Docker, and Jenkins.
Additional assets include experience with other JavaScript frameworks, Python frameworks like falcon and pyramid, and server configuration.
The ideal candidate should have a good command of English (C1 level), experience in Agile/Scrum environments, be open-minded, flexible, a team player, and possess good communication skills.

Requirements:

College or university diploma related to computer science.
5+ years of experience in web development (OOP).
3+ years of experience in Python, with expertise in Pyramid.
2+ years of experience in web technologies (HTML, CSS/SASS/LESS, JavaScript, Angular 8).
Considerable experience with Linux and LAMP architecture.
Proficiency in RESTful/JSON API development.
Experience in a Linux environment (Perl, Bash).
Familiarity with DevOps tools (AWS, Docker, Jenkins).
Asset: experience in server configuration (Web, DNS, DHCP, Memcached).
Asset: experience with other JavaScript frameworks (Meteor, React).
Asset: experience with Python frameworks like falcon and pyramid.
Good command of English (C1 level).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Open-minded, flexible, team player with good communication skills.
