Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in developing scalable and high-performing web applications.
• Direct experience with Ruby on Rails or similar web frameworks for rapidly developing web applications is required.
• Experience with REST and/or SOAP based APIs consumption and creation in Rails is necessary.
• Strong database skills with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases are essential.
• A deep commitment to test-driven development using tools like Cucumber, RSpec, Capybara, Watir, or MiniTest is expected.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, ERB, SCSS, JavaScript, or jQuery is required.
• Design skills with experience in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, database design, and data modeling are preferred.
• A 4-year college degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
• Understanding of DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and its capabilities is encouraged.
• Bonus qualifications include experience with cloud platforms (GitHub, Heroku, AWS, Azure), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), and DevOps tools (Jenkins/TeamCity, Vagrant, Puppet/Chef).
