Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in developing scalable and high-performing web applications.
Direct experience with Ruby on Rails or similar web frameworks for rapidly developing web applications is required.
Experience with REST and/or SOAP based APIs consumption and creation in Rails is necessary.
Strong database skills with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases are essential.
A deep commitment to test-driven development using tools like Cucumber, RSpec, Capybara, Watir, or MiniTest is expected.
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, ERB, SCSS, JavaScript, or jQuery is required.
Design skills with experience in object-oriented methodologies, design patterns, database design, and data modeling are preferred.
A 4-year college degree in computer science or engineering is preferred.
Understanding of DevOps Research and Assessment (DORA) and its capabilities is encouraged.
Bonus qualifications include experience with cloud platforms (GitHub, Heroku, AWS, Azure), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis), and DevOps tools (Jenkins/TeamCity, Vagrant, Puppet/Chef).
