Description:
- Join Sunscrapers as a Senior Ruby Engineer to work on data-centric projects and help clients innovate through a comprehensive tech stack.
- Collaborate with the development team, project managers, and stakeholders to design, build, and maintain web applications aligning with client objectives.
- Develop server-side logic, maintain databases, ensure high performance, and integrate front-end technologies.
- Utilize Ruby on Rails framework, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, RSpec, PostgreSQL/MySQL, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and web security best practices.
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure, especially AWS, and lead a development team in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Desired skills include knowledge of Kanban, TDD, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of Ruby development experience in startups serving clients of various sizes and industries.
- Proficiency in Ruby syntax, object-oriented programming, Ruby on Rails, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Git, RSpec, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and scalable application design.
- Experience in API integration, web security, cloud infrastructure management, Agile/Scrum, and leading development teams.
