Remote Senior Rust Developer

Description:

• We are looking for a Senior Rust Developer to join our team at BreederDAO.
• The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Rust programming and experience in developing distributed systems, consensus mechanisms, and blockchain applications.
• As part of our tech team, you will work on building scalable, high-performance blockchain solutions, smart contracts, and Web3 technologies, contributing to the development of the decentralized gaming ecosystem.
• Responsibilities include developing and maintaining blockchain applications using Rust, building, testing, and deploying smart contracts for Web3 and decentralized gaming, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to build secure, efficient, and high-performance decentralized applications.
• You will also optimize code for efficiency, scalability, and security, lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and implement best practices for Rust development.
• Additionally, you will integrate with blockchain APIs, libraries, and protocols, ensuring seamless interoperability with different blockchain ecosystems, write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, and stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in Rust, blockchain development, and decentralized gaming.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Rust programming.
• Proven experience in blockchain development, including smart contract design and deployment, is required.
• A strong understanding of Web3 technologies, decentralized finance (DeFi), and play-to-earn (P2E) gaming ecosystems is essential.
• Proficiency in cryptographic principles and experience with blockchain protocols such as Ethereum, Polkadot, or Solana is necessary.
• Solid experience with distributed systems and peer-to-peer networks is expected.
• Experience with tools such as Substrate or other blockchain development frameworks is a plus.
• Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are required.
