As a Senior Rust Core Engineer at Solforge, you will spearhead engineering efforts, driving the innovation and implementation of next-generation high-performance distributed systems.
You will work with a highly proficient team of core engineers who have contributed to foundational and novel network components.
The role involves frequent group discussions on architecture, new design specs, and code reviews, with a commitment to frequently shipping quality code.
Solforge is reimagining Solana's consensus ecosystem by developing software that connects validators with purpose-built execution environments, delivering unprecedented performance and guaranteed transaction inclusion.
The engineering team is building an entire platform written in Rust, connecting L1 and L2s, and creating complex scenarios and interactions with the running network.
Your primary focus will be on Rust and complex interactions with different components, while also being involved in infrastructure, script writing, and supporting projects in other languages.
Requirements:
A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, coupled with practical experience in blockchain systems is required.
At least 3 years of experience in distributed systems, with a deep technical understanding of L1 and L2 architectures is necessary.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Rust, C, C++, or Go is essential.
A strong emphasis on writing performant and secure code is expected.
Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable distributed systems is required.
An analytical mindset with the ability to anticipate and mitigate emerging security threats, leveraging a comprehensive understanding of the blockchain landscape is necessary.
