Description:
Keyrock is seeking a Senior Rust Engineer to support the growth of their infrastructure in the DeFi space.
The role involves collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and architects to plan and develop new features, integrate new liquidity sources, and structure financial systems.
Responsibilities include supporting the implementation, setup, and deployment of trading algorithms, assisting product managers in planning technical solutions, mentoring other engineering members, participating in code reviews, reviewing performance metrics, and ensuring well-documented processes.
The ideal candidate should have experience in developing low-latency trading systems and a passion for algo trading, crypto, and DeFi.
The position requires integrating with poorly documented APIs from protocols at times.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of back-end coding experience in languages such as C++, Rust, Go, or Java, with Rust experience being essential.
Familiarity or interest in trading and knowledge of financial markets and trading algorithms in order books is required.
Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills are necessary.
It is preferred that candidates have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in DeFi, Web3, and/or a DAO, familiarity with AWS, and experience with non-EVM chains.
Candidates should ideally be based in the Europe time zone.
