Description:

The position is for a Senior Rust Engineer specializing in DeFi at Keyrock, a leading company in the digital asset space.
The role involves supporting the implementation, setup, and deployment of trading algorithms, and signing off on the technical approach for various use cases.
The engineer will assist product managers in planning technical solutions, making trade-offs, and ensuring alignment with the engineering department's roadmap.
Responsibilities include mentoring other engineering members, actively participating in code reviews, and reviewing performance metrics to identify weaknesses and optimize activities.
The engineer will ensure that all processes are well documented.
The ideal candidate should have experience in developing low-latency trading systems and a passion for algorithmic trading, crypto, and DeFi.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of back-end coding experience in languages such as C++, Rust, Go, or Java, with Rust experience being essential.
Familiarity or interest in trading and a solid understanding of financial markets and trading algorithms in order books are required.
Outstanding written and verbal presentation skills are necessary for effective communication.
It is preferred that candidates have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in DeFi, Web3, and/or a DAO, as well as familiarity with AWS and experience with non-EVM chains.
Candidates should ideally be based in the Europe time zone to align with the wider team.
