Description:

Our client is seeking a Senior Rust Software Engineer with expertise in backend development, Rust programming, and blockchain technology knowledge to join their remote team in APAC.
The role involves designing and developing robust backend services using Rust that are scalable, secure, and high-performance.
Experience in Parallel Programming and High-Frequency Trading platforms is advantageous.
Responsibilities include participating in research, design, development, and maintenance of a high-performance algorithmic trading system based on Rust.
Collaboration with operations and infrastructure teams to build high-scale backend services.
Documentation management for all implemented code and functionalities.
Engagement in research related to fundamental blockchain technologies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Rust programming with good programming habits, coding style, and familiarity with common development frameworks and libraries.
Proficiency in developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable software applications.
Experience with version control tools like Git and testing frameworks.
Proficiency in using middleware such as MySQL, Redis, and message queues.
Understanding and implementation of basic algorithms.
Familiarity with mainstream public blockchain technologies and their working principles.
Strong interest and passion for the blockchain industry.
Critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and quick learning skills.
Clear logic, security awareness, and teamwork skills.
Fluency in English is required.
