Description:

  • Neo4j is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to actively drive and run the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, serving as the key technical advisor and advocate for their products and services.
  • The role involves developing and refining deep Neo4j product knowledge, providing informational presentations and live software demonstrations, and participating in functional and technical discovery sessions.
  • The Senior Sales Engineer will lead white-boarding sessions, map requirements to valid use cases, craft proposed solution architectures, develop prototypes, address competitive differentiation, and facilitate solution knowledge transfer to Neo4j Consulting and industry partners.
  • Additionally, the position requires supporting local marketing events, participating actively in the Neo4j Community, and showcasing support for customer requirements through Neo4j solutions.

Requirements:

  • Ability to engage and communicate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, white-boarding, and platform demonstrations.
  • Technical savviness and business acumen to translate technical concepts into valuable business outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, and implementing data solutions in the public cloud or on-premise with virtualization technologies.
  • Client-facing experience including data requirements gathering, data modeling, and presenting software demonstrations.
  • Soft skills such as effective communication, listening, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, sales-focused environment.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 7+ years of prior software pre-sales, professional services, or client-facing experience.
  • Ability to work independently, self-directed, remotely, and willingness to travel.

Benefits:

  • The annual on-target earnings range for this position in the United States is $190,000 - $260,000 USD.
