Description:

The Senior Salesforce Platform Engineer position at AlphaSense involves providing internal support to the Revenue Organization in developing, implementing, and customizing business applications.
Responsibilities include participating in worldwide projects, contributing to setting business operations policies, architecting systems, and providing technical expertise for the Revenue Organization.
The role requires working on projects with the Revenue Operations team, interpreting and scoping business requirements, and producing thorough documentation.
The engineer will troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance the Salesforce org and associated technology stack, collaborate with Program Managers on new internal projects, and monitor systems to correct technical issues.
They will analyze project proposals, participate in vendor selection, troubleshoot and work with end users to ensure applications meet their needs, and keep abreast of new applications supported features and functionality.
The engineer will evaluate, refine, and identify areas of opportunity across the technology stack, provide real-time support, and be a go-to person for revenue org technical needs.
Coaching less experienced team members, interfacing directly with less technical colleagues, and bridging the technical with the business are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

At least 10+ years of experience working with a Revenue organization and driving productivity.
Minimum 10+ years of experience as an administrator and developer in Salesforce.com.
7+ years of experience with technical implementations of Salesforce.com.
Solid understanding of core technical competencies, including system architecture, cloud infrastructure, database management, and optimization.
5+ years of experience developing in a modern high-level language like Java, Python, etc.
Experience with complementary technologies such as Frontend JS frameworks, SOAP/REST API consumption, and containerization.
Excellent communication skills, lateral thinking ability, strong interpersonal skills, and self-starter capabilities.
Creative problem-solving skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to work effectively with internal business teams.

The base compensation range for the position is $179,500 - $198,500.
Additional components may include a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
