Description:

SwissBorg is seeking a Senior Scala Engineer to contribute to the back-end development of their flagship app.
The successful candidate will work with a talented engineering team and have the opportunity to build and own products, witnessing the real-time impact of their code deployment.
The tech stack includes libraries such as Cats Effect 3, Tapir, Sttp, Fs2, Akka, infrastructure tools like Kubernetes, Docker, ArgoCD, databases like PostgreSQL, and architecture concepts like microservices, Event Sourcing, and Reactive.
Responsibilities include identifying backend architecture requirements, solving finance and distributed systems challenges, writing automated tests, optimizing code performance, coaching junior team members, and contributing to the technical architecture's continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Solid experience in Scala programming is essential for this role.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, entrepreneurial thinking, and prioritize customer value.
A keen interest in Crypto/Web3 is a must-have for this position.
