Description:

Procurify is seeking a talented and team-driven Senior Security Engineer to join their AI-enhanced procurement and AP automation platform.
The role is 100% remote in Canada and focuses on implementing robust security measures to help engineering teams achieve high cybersecurity standards.
Responsibilities include designing and deploying processes and tools to enhance security, following DevSecOps principles, and conducting STRIDE assessments for significant security features.
The Senior Security Engineer will develop security policies for application development and cloud infrastructure while maintaining compliance across the organization.
The position involves implementing and monitoring a SIEM tool to detect and remediate security events and collaborating with product development teams to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
The role requires working with a tech stack that includes AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, CircleCI, and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience as a SecOps Engineer.
Experience in mitigating and maintaining compliance controls such as ISO27001, SOC2, and PCI DSS is required.
Familiarity with containerized applications running in AWS and a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure networking and security policies is essential.
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform is necessary.
A history of effective collaboration with development teams to uphold security best practices, such as OWASP, is expected.
Candidates should be adept at working autonomously and possess strong problem-solving, technical design, and analytical skills.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills are required, especially when interacting with less technical team members.

The base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $172,000, depending on experience, excluding bonuses, commissions, benefits, or equity.
