Remote Senior Security Engineer at Podium

Description:

As a Senior Security Engineer at Podium, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing the corporate security strategy.
You will collaborate with audit and compliance teams to design, implement, and manage secure solutions aligning with architectural designs, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Your role involves staying updated on new security threats and ensuring systems can defend against them.
You will own cloud infrastructure security and AI security, manage the vulnerability management system, and research and recommend new security solutions.
Conducting incident response and postmortem exercises, creating measurable benchmarks, and driving security efficiencies through automation and integration are part of your responsibilities.
You will collaborate with various teams to ensure security measures are effective and do not impede business processes.
Providing day-to-day support for hardware, software, and managed solutions, leading security team meetings, and participating in security projects are also key aspects of the role.

6+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including compliance and risk management.
Experience with cloud environments like AWS and GCP.
Strong technical and analytical skills in system and network security engineering.
Proficiency in cloud computing technologies and knowledge of security controls and technologies.
Experience in meeting vulnerability management and penetration testing requirements.
Excellent communication skills to articulate business risk from cybersecurity issues.
Proficiency in scripting languages and regulatory standards.
Familiarity with state privacy laws and ability to think strategically and tactically.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information assurance, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CRISC, CGEIT, or related.
